Your missions

Software Engineer I - Java needed for a contract opportunity with our Entertainment client. OPEN TO REMOTE 

Job Details
 Duration: 12 months
Location:REMOTE OR LOCAL TO SAN DIEGO 
Pay rate: $45- $55 per hr. max
Start date: As soon as possible.

** Client is not able to do sponsorship of Visa or C2C** 

As a Software Engineer I, you will
  1. Help implement interactive web-based services.
  2. Create and maintain Java code and provide component level designs for the client platform.
  3. Participate in code review.
  4. Prepare and execute unit tests.
  5. Perform in-depth analysis of functional or business requirements and assist with solution design.
Qualifications:
  • BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent;
  • Experience in Java programming.
  • Knowledge of test-driven development.
  • Familiarity with SQL and databases, especially Oracle.
  • Understanding of object-oriented analysis and design.
Additional Desired Attributes:
  • Experience with C++
  • Experience working with Cloud development environment such as AWS is a plus.
  • Experience with ecommerce platform
  • Experience with servlet containers (e.g., Tomcat), JAXRS, Spring, and related technologies
