Your missions

Splunk Engineer

The Opportunity:

Everyone knows security needs to be “baked in” to system architecture, but you know how to bake it in. You can identify and implement ways to harden systems and reduce their attack surface. What if you could use your cyber engineering skills to lead the design and building of secure systems for the federal government? We’re looking for a Splunk Engineer who can create solutions for our customers that will stand up to even the most advanced cyber threats. As a Splunk Engineer on our project, you’ll work to identify the right mix of tools and techniques to translate our customer’s IT needs and future goals into a plan that will enable secure and effective solutions.

Join us. The world can’t wait.

You Have:

  • Experience with designing, configuring, and maintaining security configurations and policies for Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure
  • Experience with Kubernetes, including distributions such as Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), or VMWare Tanzu
  • Experience with container security tools, including Twistlock or Prisma Cloud Compute, Trivy, or Anchore
  • Experience with deploying and maintaining applications, appliances, or machines aligned to DoD Security Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIG) and Security Requirements Guides (SRG)
  • Experience with writing playbooks and scripts for automation tools, including Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC)
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with using, managing, and securing continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline solutions, including GitLab or GitHub
  • Experience with designing, configuring, and maintaining security for AWS GovCloud or Microsoft Azure for Government
  • Experience with scripting in Bash or Python
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, including threats, vulnerabilities, security operations, encryption, boundary defense, auditing, authentication, and supply chain risk management
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • DoD8570 IAT II Compliance Certification, including Security+, CCNA Security, or GSEC

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
