Your mission will consist to : 

• Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings of steering gear, steering columns, and brake foundation systems using CAD software.
• Work closely with the supplier
• Analyze and optimize designs for performance, cost, and manufacturability. Incorporate feedback from prototyping and testing phases.
• Prepare comprehensive documentation, including technical drawings, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and assembly instructions.
• Ensure all designs comply with industry standards and regulations. Conduct design reviews and participate in quality assurance processes.
• Address and resolve design-related issues during the development and production phases
• Provide technical support to manufacturing teams.

You're made for this job if you have a : 

• Diploma in industrial/ mechanical engineering or equivalent
• Level of experience 4 to 5 years within AUTOMOTIVE CAD.
• Experience with moving components (steering gear, steering column and/or brake foundation)
• CATIA v5 mandatory
• TeamCenter is good to have
• Fluent in English 
• Good to have Interaction experience with supplier
