Enterprise Business Services is invested in building a compact, robust organization that includes service operations and technology solutions for Finance, People, Associate Digital Experience. As Onestream/Hyperion developer for Financial Planning and Analysis Product group at Walmart Global Tech in India that works on building solutions for various business functions and for multiple Walmart markets, you’ll have the opportunity to define, implement, and deliver products that enable budget tracking, spend insights, forecasting and on time reporting using Onestream, Hyperion/Oracle technologies.
What you'll do:
• Through this role you’ll have an opportunity to participate in the design, development and support of new/existing FP&A solutions and functionalities in Onestream
• You will be responsible for coding, unit testing, building high performance and scalable Planning/Budgeting/Forecasting solutions that meet the needs of finance business users across multiple segments and functional areas in Walmart
• You’ll also get to collaborate with team members to develop best practices and analyze requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing and/or testing to help rollout new solutions as well as improve existing ones.
• You will work with software engineers & architects, product/program managers, cross-functional teams and finance teams in an agile manner to build and release product features that caters to business requirements.
• You’ll need to troubleshoot coding issues quickly, approach problems creatively and apply technology to solve business challenges
• You may contribute to design and architecture of solutions, create proof of concepts for operation excellence of FP&A solutions within Onestream by seeking ways to improve effectiveness of solutions, and work to remove performance impacting barriers thus increasing efficiency of our solutions
• Ensure timely completion of projects, and delivery of critical and measurable project objectives, and communicate effectively to all stakeholders, providing timely and accurate information.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation (including design specifications, guides, and diagrams).
• You will support the coaching and training of other team members to ensure all team associates are confident in the use of software applications
• Ensure compliance with security practices/guidelines, and relevant technology standards, promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.
What you'll bring:
• B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech/M.S. from a reputed institution with around 4-7 years of IT experience and minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in Onestream/Hyperion/Oracle Implementations
• End-to-end experience in OneStream implementations such as developing Business Rules (VB.net/C#), Workflow Profiles, Cube Views, Dashboards, Form Templates, Data Management jobs/Consolidations, Quick Views/XFGetCell reports (excel add-in) in OneStream, along with understanding of Data Integration concepts (Data Sources/Transformation Rules/Connector BR) within Onestream or with external data sources
• Understanding of metadata in Onestream such as multi-dimensional cubes, dimension extensibility
• Experience in area of ePBCS, PBCS, Hyperion Planning application (11.x version), Essbase calculation scripts/business rules, Report Scripts, ESSCMD, MaxL, Smartview
• Overall System Administration, Design, Maintenance and data modification functions in support of monthly/quarterly/yearly close processes.
• Experience in designing and implementing scalable solutions and working with global teams
• Experience in analysing and translating business requirements to technical requirements, robust architecture and good design.
• Flexibility in adopting to new areas of work, domain and technical competencies.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Nice to have: Knowledge in Python, SQL and other programming/scripting languages
• Added advantage: Experience in migration from On-Prem to Cloud for Onestream
