Job Description

Have you wondered how life-saving drugs and therapies are created, tested, marketed, and available to needy patients? Have you wondered how clinical trials are conducted on a global scale? How do governments and health authorities regulate various organizations participating in this marketplace? Have you wondered how those companies and insurance providers price a certain drug and how a care provider determines the proper treatment for a given patient? In this role, you work with internal and external developers responsible for the development and subsequent support of the various platform services components underpinning all the customer-facing applications across Norstella. As part of a large technology group, you work with product management, architecture, and other software engineering teams to support the product development roadmap.

We are looking for an experienced individual with excellent communication skills, deep experience in software engineering, and, most importantly, the ability and willingness to keep learning in this ever-changing technology landscape.

Education:

Minimum bachelor’s degree in computer science and engineering or related field of study or equivalent experience.

Build end‐to‐end testing toolchains for our products' functional, non-functional, performance, usability, and security testing.

Ensuring the quality and reliability of our web and mobile applications, including iOS platforms. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and scripts.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and other QA engineers, to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software products.

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior members of the QA team.

Stay current with industry trends, technology, and best practices in automation testing and quality assurance and prepare and present training as applicable.

Work with teams and leadership to effectively work in a high‐volume, rapid delivery, agile environment, utilizing a “shift left mentality” to implement a lean model.

Mandatory:

•       Automation Scripting: Ruby / Python

•       Web automation Testing Tool: Watir(preferably)/Selenium/PlayWright

•       Advanced SQL skills

•       CI/CD in Test Automation: ADO/Jenkins/GHA or similar

•       Containers Orchestration: Docker, K8s

•       AWS: ECS/ EKS, RDS, S3

Nice to have:

•       Programming – Ruby/Python RoR/Django

•       Cucumber / Gherkin

•       Experience with JIRA or similar PM tool

•       Performance testing

•       Security testing
