Product Marketing Director

Level: PL09

Position Summary:

Lytx is seeking an experienced Product Marketing Director to spearhead our global product marketing initiatives. This high-impact role will lead the development and execution of go-to-market strategies, product positioning, and messaging that sets our hardware, software and platform solutions apart in a competitive landscape.

This is an end-to-end marketing role that requires strategic thinking, cross-group collaboration, and focus on driving impact as well as a passion for technology and storytelling. It is an exciting, challenging and highly visible role where your team’s success will have a direct impact on Lytx’s success in this space. You and your team will collaborate with engineering, sales, and partner channels to win customers and establish market leadership and help save lives on the roadway.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead an industry-leading product marketing team, empower them to drive impact and growth. 
  • Work closely with various departments, including Sales, Marketing, and Product Development, to ensure market intelligence insights inform and align with company strategies.
  • Refine and advance our global go-to-market strategy and messaging process for new and existing solutions.
  • Oversee and engage directly in building positioning that differentiates the product in the market.
  • Apply best practices for bringing solutions to market with an understanding of the buying journey, personas involved in the selection and use of our solutions and expand and explain benefits and use cases for an ever-expanding set of opportunities ahead.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to implement marketing strategies.
  • Support and produce content and enablement materials for internal teams.
  • Work with brand, communications and growth marketing to promote the product externally through campaigns, press releases, webinars and events.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in product marketing at a Director or Manager level, preferably in technology or data-centric companies
  • Bachelor’s Degree, MBA preferred.
  • Experience with end-to-end product launches in a global B2B solutions.
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in a leadership role, with proven experience developing, aligning, leading to develop a team that is focused on driving immediate impact as well as delivering long-term growth.
  • Experience in hiring and on-boarding new team members.
  • Experience in evaluating performance to ensure the team is meeting the standards of productivity and quality.
  • Demonstrated ability to work, communicate, and collaborate effectively in global teams.
  • Ability to execute cross-functionally with sales, marketing, legal, customer service and product teams.
  • Experience in developing presentations and collateral that tell powerful stories.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, ambiguous, ever-changing environment
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work on multiple initiatives simultaneously.

Salary is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.  This position is also eligible for an incentive compensation plan.  The expected hiring salary for this position is:

$188,206.70 - $229,929.94
