Key Account Manager - Nordics
What you’ll do
As Key Account Manager-Nordics (KAM), you will be responsible for managing sales in distribution and consumer Tier 2 platforms to achieve set targeted levels and leverage our brand objectives. Assist the team to optimise our marketing spend and brand presence. Establish and maintain strong relationships with reseller and distribution partners across Nordics with the scope to include new accounts in the future. Educate and interface with other departments to drive a stronger consumer and SMB business for the future.
How you’ll do it
•Build on or establish strong relationships with key decisions makers and influencers with Linksys partners.
•Conduct weekly reviews of sales, inventory, promotions, pricing allowances (P&A), forecasts, and any other account activities that will impact financial results.
•Monitor and report on competitor activity and identify emerging trends in consumer buying patterns. Be able to turn these insights into actionable plans to achieve your goals.
•Meet or exceed gross sales, net sales, and gross profit targets as set by upper management.
•Identify and onboard new consumer opportunities driving growth revenue targets.
•Demonstrate an ability to build and establish strong relationships with key contacts at accounts.
•Assist customers with all account related questions, issues, or concerns. Provide accurate, timely information and manage the outcome.
•Build and share weekly outlook and opportunities to the wider Linksys team for your respective account base.
•Assist Marketing/Sales teams with content reviews and suggestions for future improvements.
•Collaborate with entire sales team to ensure best practices and information is shared to maximise results and achieve goals.
•Provide customer recaps for all meetings and take lead to ensure all action items are executed upon including delegation of assignments to supporting functions.
•Develop and execute comprehensive account plans, Joint Business Plan’s, promotional plans and regularly review with sales leads.
What you’ll need
•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
•High proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
•Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to influence others.
•Passion for business, tech savvy and quick to adapt new concepts.
•Strong analytical skills, leverage data to develop actionable outcomes.
•Willingness and ability to travel 50% international and/ or domestic if required.
•Fluent English and Swedish is essential with other languages being beneficial.
What you’ve done
Experience should include:
•5+ years’ experience in a Tier 2 and/or distribution sales capacity or equivalent position.
•Proven experience within Retail, Distribution and B2B in the Consumer electronics/IT sector.
•Ability to work cross functionally with strong problem solving skills.
•Established network of contacts in Nordic retail sector.
•Proven track record of sales growth and/or prospecting.
•Ability to multi-task and maintain accuracy is required.
