Sr Specialist Data Analysis

Job Summary:

As a member of the Data Analytics team, you will work with various data sets to uncover insights that drive strategic decision-making and business optimization. Your responsibilities include data collection, analysis, interpretation, and visualization, as well as providing actionable recommendations to support business goals. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and play a key role in fostering a data-driven culture within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

- Data Collection & Preparation: Gather data from various sources, clean and preprocess data to ensure accuracy and consistency. Utilize Snowflake and databricks for data storage, processing, and querying.

- Data Analysis: Conduct statistical analysis and exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights. Use machine learning techniques for predictive modeling and other advanced analytics tasks.

- Data Visualization: Create clear and meaningful data visualizations using tools like Tableau Power BI or like effectively communicate insights.

- Reporting & Dashboards: Develop regular reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics.

- Collaboration: Work closely with other teams (e.g., marketing, finance, operations) to understand their data needs and provide insights to support their objectives.

- Documentation: Document analytical processes, findings, and methodologies for future reference and knowledge sharing.

- Problem Solving: Use data to identify opportunities for business improvements and provide recommendations for process optimization.

- Continuous Learning: Stay up to date with industry trends, tools, and best practices in data analytics, including Snowflake and machine learning techniques.

Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering).

- Experience: Previous experience in a data analytics role or a related field, including work with Snowflake and machine learning, required technical skills include,

    -Proficiency in data analysis languages (e.g., Python, R) and data manipulation tools (e.g., SQL)

    -Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar, hands-on experience using Snowflake for data storage, querying, and processing

    -Experience with machine learning techniques, including supervised and unsupervised learning, model training, evaluation, and deployment.

    -Strong understanding of statistical analysis and hypothesis testing.

    -Understanding of data privacy regulations and adherence to data governance best practices

- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.

- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.

- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with different departments and willingness to learn new tools and technologies and adapt to changing project requirements.

Experience: Overall 6+ yrs in Data Analysis.
