Regulatory and Legal Specialist II - Fully Remote

• Prepares and renews regulatory business licenses for Magellan operations, including utilization review and third party administrator licenses for various affiliates and subsidiaries.
• Researches and gathers new, modified or re-interpreted laws/regulations using Westlaw and other research tools and resources.
• Responds to research requests from Compliance department.
• Assists compliance personnel to develop and maintain relevant databases that summarize state laws and regulations impacting Magellan's operations.
• Identifies, documents and distributes compliance best practices under the direction of the Corporate Compliance Officer.
• Supports policy management and administration, including facilitating periodic reviews and managing policies within the policy management system.
