Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Strategy: Develop and implement strategic operational initiatives that align with CurifyLabs’ mission. Work closely with the CEO and executive team to define and realize the company's vision, focusing on scalable solutions in logistics and beyond.
• Business Operations: Manage day-to-day operations at headquarters and subsidiaries, ensuring all departments operate with high efficiency, scalability, and quality. Spearhead process improvements to enhance overall operational effectiveness.
• Team Leadership: Build, guide, and mentor a top-tier operations team. Promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability within the team.
• Financial Management: Oversee the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes. Monitor financial metrics and devise strategies to meet or exceed financial targets.
• Compliance and Quality: Guarantee adherence to regulatory standards and industry best practices. Implement stringent quality assurance processes to maintain superior standards of product and service delivery.
• Partnerships and Alliances: Forge and maintain strategic partnerships with key entities, including distribution partners, research institutions, and technology partners, to enhance our market position.
• Technology Integration: Collaborate with the technology department to integrate cutting-edge technologies that support operational efficiency and further our personalized medicine initiatives. Keep in mind that major aspects of the product roadmap remain under the founders' purview.
• Risk Management: Identify potential operational risks and formulate effective mitigation strategies to enhance the company's resilience and adaptability in a fluctuating market.
• Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to gauge and report on operational success. Provide comprehensive updates to the CEO and board of directors.

About you:

Since you have worked in a similar role, you know what it takes to scale a business including managing logistics, entering new markets, building teams and technology. You are not afraid of traveling and your flexible mindset keeps you happy also during the more stressful days of startup life. It would be fantastic if you know the pharma/healthcare industry or if you have experience scaling a hardware company. Since you will have direct reports, we think that you should be a nice, motivating and energetic leader who gets things done in time. You will also work on financial planning, forecasting and budgeting so you should be good friends with Excel. There will be ups and downs on this journey, but this will not be a problem for you, as you have strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. You have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills so people like to listen to you. Most importantly, you love startup environment and want to be part of building a technology which is relevant to everyone you know.
