As a Senior React Native Engineer, you will join our Engineering Team and work on architecting and delivering new customer functionality for our mobile application as well as supporting existing features. You will have the opportunity to work as part of a dynamic and highly collaborative team that is focused on delivering the best mobile experience for our customers.

The Skill Set:Utilize experience in mobile application development (Android and iOS)Build complex mobile applications with reusable components, leveraging best practices for React Native, Android and iOSLeverage REST APIs to query and process large volumes of data in parallel and in the backgroundApply expertise on core Javascript concepts like web workers, closures, promises etc.Demonstrate strong communication skills, capable of effectively collaborating with cross-functional teamsBe willing and able to understand the customer’s issues, and write holistic coding solutions keeping them in mind.Stay up to date with tooling and best practices, help drive the team toward improvement and innovationEstimate effort and risk accurately prior to building new functionalityReview peers’ code, ensure only the highest quality commits enter the codebase, help the team growUnderstand manipulation of git branches and commitsFocus on delivering quality solutions by thoroughly testing code prior to handing over to QA, write unit tests, and exercise best practices such as Test Driven DevelopmentAdapt mockups into a functioning solutionApply experience and best practices on ReduxDemonstrate excellent and persistent problem solver who enjoys a challengeWithin 60 Days, You'll:Become an expert in the functionality and codebase of the mobile applicationBecome familiar with the main modules of the web applicationComplete our Sitetracker Engineering Development Plan and be fully ramped on our technology stack and established design patternsBe a consulted contributor as part of one of our SCRUM teamsDeliver enhancements and bug fixes which are rolled out to customersWithin 180 Days, You'll:Become a main contributor to our mobile codebaseHelp investigate and resolve production issuesHave a thorough understanding of the full mobile application and suggest improvements to improve performance and scalabilityParticipate in architecting and design discussions that will influence the future of our applicationProvide valuable feedback to other team members through code reviewsDeliver several larger enhancements that have been successfully deployed to customers with positive resultsDeliver small bug fixes on the web platform that are delivered to our customersWithin 365 Days, You'll:Be a point of reference for the mobile applicationHave a full understanding of our entire web platformLead other junior engineers into building new modules for the applicationThe actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience
For Colorado based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $121,500 to $160,500.
For California based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $121,500 to $170,500
For New York based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $121,500 to $170,500
For Washington based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $121,500 to $170,500
