Your missions

We trust and empower our product managers with the future of our greatest asset - our technology. Working directly with the Director of Product you will be part of a close team of product managers and product analysts. You’ll become an expert in the fascinating and fast changing world of distributed workforces and design solutions that enable employees of the world’s biggest and fastest growing companies to work everywhere.

Our Product
Managing a distributed workforce is pivotal to most companies - creating integrated global teams; hiring, developing and retaining the best people (regardless of location), supporting global customers and developing in new markets.

Our product supports the gamut of ways in which global companies and their employees can work everywhere:
• Employees relocating and being assigned to different states or countries around the world
• Companies working in industries where global work is part of day to day life - such as workers moving on and off mining sites or oil rigs
• Employees frequently travelling for business
• Remote working or working from home around the world

Topia picks up where other core corporate systems - HR, finance, benefits, expenses and payroll systems - struggle. Handling global immigration, tax, employment law, cost allocation and payroll withholding complexities and, more simply, just helping companies to work everywhere.

The Role
This Product Manager is a key part of our product team, overseeing the development and delivery of your products, ensuring it meets market needs and aligns with our business objectives.  You’ll be:

Why - explaining the value of the work being committed to stakeholders and your product team
When - creating and sharing a product roadmap that aligns with the wider product vision / mission statement
• Driving self-service for our partners and customers to use to manage their configurations, lessening the effort involved in the implementation and/or maintenance of the product
• Enhancing the product’s scalability and increasing the amount of self-serve features for our customers
• Ensure new features and functionality is communicated across our customer base
• Whenever we need to define a new core concept, such as a remote worker or global nomad, our platform product manager is responsible for defining the model, defining how this could be used across all of our products

We’re relying on you to:

• Build a core understanding of all of our products and how they come together, weaving constantly in and out of our platform layer.
• Create a positive working environment, protecting your engineers and ensure they are enabled to work effectively and efficiently.
• Manage stakeholders, our products have many stakeholders involved including product director, customer success team, sales teams, customers and end users. You will have to work with all these people to effectively ensure that the engineering team is delivering value.
• Listen to existing and future customers and partners to thoroughly understand their problems and desires when using the Topia platform.
• Build a business case to justify new investments of time & resources and communicate this to a wide range of stakeholders (from individual contributors to executives).
• Work tightly with User Experience Design, Customer Success and Implementation teams to ensure that customer experience is at the heart of every product decision.
• Partner with your dedicated engineering team to deliver high quality products on time.
