Level Access, the leader in digital accessibility, is seeking a talented Senior Product Designer to join our dynamic team. We are dedicated to creating inclusive digital experiences, and as a member of our team, you will play a key role in crafting the user experience of our digital accessibility technology products.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated Senior Product Designer to join our platform team. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping the user experience of our digital tools, working closely with other designers and cross-functional teams to create innovative and effective design solutions. Key focus areas include navigation and wayfinding, design systems, and user management.

Responsibilities
  • Design Solutions: Create intuitive and accessible user interfaces for our digital accessibility technology products.
  • Design Systems: Lead the development and adoption of design systems to ensure consistency and scalability across our platform.
  • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and create effective design solutions.
  • User Research: Lead user research and usability testing to gather insights and iterate on designs.
  • Strategy Contribution: Contribute to both short- and long-term design strategy from end customer perspective
  • Mentorship: Mentor other designers and provide design reviews and support.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 6 years in designing various digital tools, including web-based applications, native applications, and plugins.
  • Design Systems: At least 4 years of experience leading and adopting design systems.
  • Visual Design: Highly skilled in communicating intent and meaning through visual language. Able to translate branding into UI/UX.
  • Information Architecture: Expertise in information architecture and understanding of hierarchy.
  • Data-Driven Design: Advanced understanding of using data to inform the design of digital tools and products.
  • Research: Advanced knowledge of UX research practices with proficiency in various user testing methods and tools, such as Maze.
  • Collaboration: Strong experience in collaborating with Product Managers and Engineers in agile environments.
  • Alignment: Excellent at achieving design team level and cross-functional alignment.
  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Nice to haves
  • Design Discovery: Experience in design discovery, including problem framing.
  • Content Design: Experience in effective content design for UI/UX.
  • Service Design: Knowledge of service design principles and practices.
  • Design Principles: Mastery of design principles, usability principles, and standard methodologies.
  • Accessibility: Understanding of digital accessibility in design.
