Abnormal Security is looking for a Contracts Administrator to join the legal team, reporting to the Legal Operations Manager. In this role, you will directly support the commercial contracting and go-to-market (GTM) legal team. This role will play a critical role in supporting our Legal Operations Manager to enhance efficiency, automate processes, and manage our contract lifecycle management (CLM) platform. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of CLM tools, process optimization and have a positive, approachable attitude. In addition, the Contracts Administrator will be an important contributing member of the amazing legal team we’re building.
In this role, you will be primarily responsible for supporting the commercial legal team by focusing on revenue-focused and commercial legal processes. You will also contribute to the Abnormal Legal Team and coach and support the amazing people that we bring on board as future Abnormal Team members. Your ability to do the following will drive your success as Contracts Administrator:
Manage CLM Platform: Oversee the CLM platform to ensure it is optimized for efficiency and meets the needs of the commercial team and the wider organization. You will become the subject matter expert in our tools.
Triage Requests from Sales: Leveraging generative AI, you will serve as the first point of contact for legal requests from the Sales department, ensuring that inquiries are addressed promptly and accurately.
Maintain Legal Team and Legal-Sales Knowledge Bases: Keep the legal team’s internal and external knowledge bases up-to-date with the latest policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure that Legal and Sales can access critical information swiftly.
Assess and Optimize Workflows: Continually assess current legal processes and workflows for efficiency and effectiveness. Propose and implement tech solutions to automate and operationalize where possible.
Review Restricted Party Screening: Conduct reviews of restricted party screening flags as necessary, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Oversee the Contracting Process: Oversee the contract lifecycle so that contracts are managed efficiently from initiation to completion. This includes ensuring timely turnaround times for redlines, managing approvals, signing and ensuring that the appropriate metadata is captured when archived.
Training for GTM Legal Processes: Create training programs using generative AI for new Sales hires to ensure basic understanding of legal processes and platform use.
