About this role
As the Project Management Director, you will be at the forefront of our mission to design and deliver exceptional digital experiences, products, and services. Your leadership and expertise in project management will be pivotal in enhancing our project management standards and procedures, ensuring all projects are meticulously tracked, and utilizing Jira with Scrum/Agile workflows. You will oversee multiple regional projects, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within our dynamic team.
How will your daily work look like?
- Leading and managing the project management team to deliver high-quality digital products and platforms.
- Establishing, upgrading, and enforcing project management standards, procedures, and best practices.
- Implementing and overseeing the use of Jira for all projects, ensuring adherence to Scrum/Agile workflows.
- Tracking and monitoring project progress, ensuring timely and on-budget delivery.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams including designers, developers, and business stakeholders to define project goals, deliverables, and timelines.
- Conducting regular meetings with internal and external stakeholders to review project status, address challenges, and align on priorities.
- Identifying and mitigating risks to project success, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Analyzing project performance data to drive continuous improvement and efficiency.
- Coaching and mentoring project managers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
- Reporting on project status and performance to senior leadership, providing strategic recommendations.
What qualifications do you need to join us?
- Extensive experience in project management, particularly in the consulting, digital and technology sectors with a proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex digital products and platforms across different regions.
- Required experience working on projects in Europe and the Middle East.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with experience leading multi-regional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Experience in establishing and upgrading project management standards and procedures.
- Expertise in project management software and tools, such as Jira Software Management, Jira Work Management, Confluence.
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in project management (e.g., PMBOK, PRINCE2).
Nice to haves
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certification.
- Experience working with Hubspot (CRM) and Productive.
- Experience with other project management tools and methodologies.
- Background in digital design, user experience, or software development.
- Familiarity with emerging digital technologies and trends.
- Experience in coaching and mentoring project managers towards professional development.
- Experience with remote and distributed team management.
