Two positions are available; one to support Network Revenue Cycle Teams and one to support Network Nursing Teams.

This position is based at our offices in South Burlington, VT.  After a period of training in office the employee will have the option to work from home 2 days per week with the remaining days onsite.


JOB SUMMARY:

The Lead Network Financial Specialist will assist Network Director/ VP/SVP in coordinating/overseeing workflow including prioritization and status updates. The role will be a resource to guide and support the work of other Financial team members as necessary, providing training & mentoring, and/or project management as directed by the Network Director/VP/SVP and/or in conjunction with their routine work. The Lead Network Financial Specialist will assist Network Finance & Operational Leaders with assessing network department resources, serve as a finance partner to develop strategic solutions, achieving network initiatives, assist with recommendations and modeling the financial impact of changing shared services support structures, and serve as network resource. The role will be responsible for providing information to Network finance & operations, other financial partners, and various department leaders (network & partner) for providing financial analysis and explanation as requested and as routinely deemed within the scope of responsibilities for this position.  It is expected the role may also provide project support for various projects involving financial analysis, benchmarking comparisons, improvement initiatives, and recommend reporting solutions.

EDUCATION:

Master's degree in Healthcare Management/Business Administration preferred. A Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related discipline is required.

EXPERIENCE:

Five or more years of related experience that demonstrates knowledge and familiarity with health care finance, accounting and budgeting.
