Responsibilities Include 

  • SCCM\Intune\MECM\Microsoft Configuration Manager Managed Service Subject Matter Expert - responsible for but not limited to the following for the Customer:
    • Monitor and Maintain Infrastructure Health
    • Perform Product Upgrades to Infrastructure
    • Manage and Maintain Client Health and Deployment
    • Application Deployment and Packaging
    • Patch Management for supported Windows devices
    • Windows Operating System Deployment configuration and maintenance
    • Compliance reporting
    • Provide recommendations for best practices to achieve client success in asset management.
  • Managed Services Monitoring and Patch Management Administrator - responsible for but not limited to the following:
    • Manage and maintain the internal N-Central Management system for Lunavi 
    • Perform upgrades to N-Central as needed
    • Maintain standard patch schedule and coordinate with customers.
    • Monitor patch deployment and success.
    • Compliance reporting
    • Monitor security trends for issues with Microsoft patching and advise customers accordingly.
  • Sophos Endpoint Protection Administrator - responsible for but not limited to the following:
    • Manage and Monitor Sophos Endpoint Protection for Lunavi
    • Respond to alerts generated by Sophos for customers.
    • Provide internal and Customer guidance on Sophos alerts.
  • Tier 2 and 3 support escalations as needed
  • The role is a technical, customer facing role that is accountable for the end-to-end customer deployment experience. 
  • Implement and recommend viable architectural approaches that support long term maintainability, availability, extensibility, and interoperability of enterprise applications and infrastructure. 
  • Deploy, manage, test, upgrade, and integrate Windows components and services, such as AD, DNS, SQL, etc. 
  • Experience with workload migrations to Hyperscale and VMware environments as well as the ability to deploy Azure infrastructure and move workloads to Azure. 
  • Experience with VDI, including design, implementation, and maintenance a plus. 
  • VMware management, troubleshooting and experience with vCloud. 
  • Window and Linux environments administration 
  • Ensure customer up-time by managing backup and recovery solutions. 
  • Handle escalations from the service delivery team for a variety of client issues. 
  • Continuously train and educate engineering staff to improve our ability to rapidly respond to client needs. 
  • Consult with the client services, sales team and internal team on evolving client requirements based on changes in the telemetry of their environment. 
  • Consult with the product team on enhancements to products and services based on intimate familiarity with client environments. Communicates effectively with an internal team with regards to events and changes transpiring at client sites. 
  • Other Customer projects and tasks, as requested by management
  • Participate in “on-call” rotation as needed. 

Additional Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen customer relationships. 
  • Identify key engagement and solution risks and define mitigation strategies. 
  • Experience with DevOps – Agile methods highly desired. 
  • Provide leadership and mentoring for technical resources on your project teams.
  • Ensures all documentation, environment hand-over to support team and onboarding is completed. 
  • Communicate effectively with non-technical staff and with members of cross-functional teams. 
  • Communicate escalated issues to the department head as necessary. 
  • Responsible for entering time in our ticketing system daily prior to end of a workday. 
  • Review IT publications and online materials to remain up to date with current and future technologies emerging in the industry. 
Requirements
  • BS in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, and Engineering or 5+ years of experience working and supporting IT environment. 
  • Deep technical experience in infrastructure design including private and public cloud, networking, virtualization, identity, security and storage. 
  • Understanding of how to build resilient multi-site architectures. 
  • Experience with Azure Resource Manager, Resource Groups, Virtual Networks, Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Blob Storage, PowerShell DSC, Azure Automation, Azure Active Directory, and Azure Site Recovery 
  • The expertise of Microsoft Products (O365, Azure, Active Directory, Windows, Windows Desktop OS, SCCM, SCOM, SCSM, and SQL) 
  • Azure Core Platform: Compute, Storage, Networking. Data Platform: SQL, Azure DB. 
  • Experience with Azure Governance and Best Practices (Role-Based Access Control, Networking Architectures, Cost Management controls, etc.). 
  • Knowledge of Iaas, Baas, Public Cloud, and Paas. 
  • Experience with DR technologies using Zerto a plus. 
  • Comfortable being part of a high-performance team and working hard to overcome big challenges on tight timelines while maintaining a work-life balance. 
  • Enjoys a transparent, high-communication environment. 
  • Have a Microsoft MCSA, MCAAA, MCSE or VCP certification (Preferred)  
  • Experience with storage systems and managing SAN fabric. 
  • Network experience and troubleshooting skills with Switches, Routers, Firewalls and a good understanding of OSPF, VLAN, NAT, VPN, NSX, UTM Security. 
  • Organizational and project management skills. 
  • Working knowledge of O365 and SharePoint. 
  • Experience with VoIP Administration. 
  • Key understanding of monitoring systems. 
  • Scripting abilities and techniques examples including but not limited to, batch, PowerShell, and bash. 
  • Understanding of Service Management operational frameworks such as ITIL and functions including Service Desk, Change Management, Incident Management, Capacity Planning, Service Level Agreements, Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Planning.
