Job Description:

We are excited to be on the hunt for a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Cybersecurity Writer.

In this role, you will write a range of commercial and informational articles across the cybersecurity categories - VPN, antivirus, password managers, web hosting.
 

Responsibilities:

• Work with the Editors and Managing Editors to conduct research, improve processes and boost brand exposure
• Write product buying guides, reviews, how-to guides and informational content to an excellent standard for our cybersecurity categories - VPN, antivirus, password managers, web hosting
• Upload and edit content to the CMS (Wordpress)
• Update existing articles to improve their overall quality and ensure the information on the site is up- to-date, fresh and relevant
• Conduct background research, including site visits, surveys or in-depth interviews to better understand our audience’s pain points, and to gather experts’ opinions and views.
• Fact-check, edit, revise, review and proofread work before publishing

Qualifications:

• Cybersecurity-specific knowledge and experience writing in the niche (VPN, antivirus, password managers, web hosting)
• Ability to write about technical elements in a digestible, easy to understand way
• Experience in writing commercial content (buying guides, reviews)
• Experience writing for high authority tech websites
• Ability to adhere to deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience using SEO tools such as Ahrefs and Accuranker
• Experience using analytic tools such as GA4
