Job Description:

We are excited to be on the hunt for a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Crypto Journalist.

In this role, you will be reporting on the latest developments in the crypto space, from legislation to meme coins, renewable energy mining, crypto presales and all things crypto.

Responsibilities:

• Trend analysis - stay up-to-date with the latest advancements, legislation, and trends in the crypto space.
• Exclusivity - pitch and produce exclusive stories/angles that have not been covered or have received little coverage to date.
• Expertise - high degree of familiarity with blockchain technology and its use cases, how crypto exchanges work, CBDCs, new tokens and presales.
• Content creation - be able to outline and write crypto news posts that meet our editorial standards in a timely manner. We’re looking for 100% human-written content at the moment, and we closely test for AI-generated and/or spun text.
• Sourcing - have and/or be able to build a network of contacts in the tech & crypto or finance space that you can use to obtain exclusive insights or information.

Qualifications:

• At least one year of experience in crypto journalism, and at least two years’ experience in content creation, with a portfolio of published work.

• Proven ability to write about exclusive developments in the crypto or tech space.

• Excellent writing and editing skills geared towards producing clear, concise, and engaging content.

• Ability to work quickly and autonomously in a remote setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Seniority and a network of sources in the crypto space.

• Google Knowledge Panel for yourself as an author.
