We are a leading software provider of Item Chain Management solutions to consumer brand, retail and industrial enterprises around the globe. Our software platform applies innovative data science to transform item-level data into valuable operational intelligence, helping organizations manage the entire life-cycle of billions of unique identities from source to sale to consumption.

The CloudOps Engineer will work with leading Cloud infrastructure technology to deploy, scale and manage ‌customer  ‌production infrastructure and software globally and meet customer SLAs.

Working closely with software development teams to automate and accelerate the testing, release and deployment of software into runtime environments quickly and reliably. 

Position Location - This role is available in Latam.

Time Zone Requirements - This team operates on the East/West Coast time zones.

How you’ll make an impact:

• Deploy, Automate, Maintain, and Manage: Handle the deployment, automation, maintenance, and management of an AWS production system.
• Ensure System Reliability and Security: Ensure that AWS production systems are reliable, secure, and scalable.
• Problem-Solving: Resolve issues across multiple application domains and platforms using system troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques.
• Operational Process Automation: Automate various operational processes by designing, maintaining, and managing tools.
• Operational Support and Engineering: Provide primary operational support and engineering for all Cloud and Enterprise deployments.
• Platform Security Leadership: Lead the organization’s platform security efforts by collaborating with the core engineering team.
• Policy Development: Develop policies, standards, and guidelines for Infrastructure as Code (IAC) and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) that teams can follow.

What we’re looking for:

Minimum requirements:

• Educational Background: Degree in Computer Science or related fields.
• Microservices Experience: Familiarity with microservices architecture.
• CI/CD Pipelines: Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines practices.
• AWS Data Tools: Working experience with AWS data tools like Database Migration Service, S3, Lambda, and Glue.
• Python: Proficiency in Python programming.
• Terraform: Extensive experience with Terraform.
• Database Technologies: Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL database technologies.
• Version Control: Proficiency with version control software.
• Relevant Tools: Experience with Terraform, Jenkins, and Ansible.
• AWS Expertise: Extensive experience with AWS infrastructure.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Organizational and Project Management Skills: Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail and ability to identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks.
• Technical Implementation Mapping: Ability to understand requirements and map them to technical implementation.
• Application Lifecycle Methodologies: Familiarity with application lifecycle methodologies (e.g., waterfall, agile, iterative).

Nice to have:

Data Processing Frameworks: Experience with batch and real-time data processing frameworks.

Data Modelling: Experience with data modeling, data access, schemas, and data storage techniques within Snowflake.

Business Intelligence Tools: Experience with business intelligence tools and platforms.

Data Quality Tools: Experience with data quality tools.

ETL Processes: Experience with ETL processes and tools.
