About the Role:
Sitecore is seeking a Senior Field Marketing Manager, who will be a key member of the North America Field Marketing team, to drive marketing programs within the region.
The role is responsible for executing against the company and regional marketing strategy plans, building and executing a marketing plan within your designated territory/team, and driving demand generation programs.
As a member of the regional team you are proactive and are comfortable taking a hands-on in approach; able to gather and interpret data and market intelligence; have a strong track-record with demand generation campaigning; and are able to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, to pursue the journey with you.
Working within a quarter-based planning framework, the successful candidate will act as a business manager together with the sales leader and partner community in the healthcare and enterprise market spaces, alongside fellow members of the field marketing team, contributing to the overall go-to-market planning and execution.
What You’ll Do:
  • Plan, develop and execute – build and manage a robust quarterly marketing plan, including an extensive range of digital and event demand generation initiatives in the Central & Western United States and Canada geographic regions. This plan will be built in collaboration and partnership with the regional Sales leaders and wider field/partner marketing team to achieve pipeline creation (85% Net New / 15% install base).
  • Leverage multiple channels and program tactics - including but not limited to: webinars, field/live events, partner programs, acquisition paid programs (sponsored email, content syndication, list buys, virtual events, 3rd party events etc.), database and nurture email campaigns.
  • Determine and manage an in-region partner co-marketing strategy – This market to/through/with program will provide mutual business value and support the overall regional marketing plan and success metric.
  • End to end program delivery - Develop, track and deliver comprehensive pre/during/post initiative strategies, to support key corporate campaigns and drive pipeline generation for the business.
  • Forecast, measure, analyze – track the impact of all programs in real time, and be willing to adjust and repivot to optimize all field marketing activities.
  • Workload management - Prioritize and manage projects to timelines, budget and resources.
  • Adhere to SLAs - Plan programs leveraging a range of internal teams and stakeholders, adhering to SLAs and timelines in order to deliver successful programs, on time and on budget.
  • Budgeting - Manage allocated budget within the agreed parameters including adhering to corporate/finance best practices.
  • Program delivery & success measurement - Manage all programs with a Lead-to-Cash mentality, and be comfortable reporting on success metrics, data and business attainment.
What Success Will Look Like:
  • Development of an effective and respected relationship with the Americas Sales teams and other business stakeholders centered around mutual success, and program planning/execution.
  • The target outcomes from the marketing plan will be to achieve the agreed success metrics per Sales and Marketing leadership direction. This will be measured through a range of metrics including waterfall targets, balanced solution scorecard and pipeline generation.
  • All internal stakeholders will be kept informed and solicited for input/feedback regarding strategy proposals, progress of the programs, actual performance and ROI, and will have opportunities to proactively provide input in a timely and consistent manner.
  • Sitecore Partners will be highly effective in their execution of Sitecore supported activities in the appliable region, and active in driving new customer acquisition and pipeline.
  • The ability to demonstrate customer and market insights in order to input and influence the needs of the region through the wider marketing organization.
  • The achievements and contribution of the programs are effectively communicated across the Americas Field & Partner Marketing organization and applicable Sales leadership.
What You Need to Succeed:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • 10+ years hands-on marketing experience with demonstrated knowledge of marketing plan development, managing agencies, event delivery, digital marketing and program execution
  • Proven experience working with sales teams and supporting demand generation programs to drive pipeline development and sales
  • Experience with marketing plan development including understanding of the market, competitive landscape, products/services, sales strategy and ROI projections
  • Strong internal/external consultative marketing approach in order to effectively engage with Sales, the Partner Community, and other members of the Marketing organization
  • Able to assess complex market landscapes, to create and implement focused, integrated and high impact marketing plans and demand generation initiatives
  • Proven experience in building and/or leveraging creative assets and marketing content
  • A good understanding of marketing technology and principals
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail
  • Highly motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced team environment and is readily adaptable to changing market and organizational requirements
  • A strong understanding of reporting, data and marketing metrics
  • Self-motivated and a self-starter; able to work autonomously and collaborate with team members and partners remotely where required
  • Enjoy working in collaborative teams and building relationships
  • Intermediate/Advanced Microsoft Office competency required, prior Salesforce and Marketo (or similar) experience required
  • Prior Partner/Channel Marketing experience preferred
