Senior Data Engineer (GCP+Phyton)

ABOUT THE ROLE:

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Develop and deploy scalable cloud applications using GCP services, ensuring robust security and compliance with IAM policies.
• Implement data processing pipelines with Dataflow and BigQuery, optimizing data storage and retrieval.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and application deployments using Docker and Cloud Run, enhancing CI/CD pipelines.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs with Django, FastAPI, and Flask, integrating with various GCP services.
• Apply API gateway tools for API management, ensuring seamless integration and security.

WHAT WE EXPECT:

• Strong understanding of GCP services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, Big Query, Dataflow, Pub/Sub along with knowledge of GCP security best practices, identity and access management (IAM), and networking concepts and API.
• Experience in agile development practices, in which requirements and solutions evolve through the collaborative effort of self-organizing cross functional teams.
• Core language: Python
• API framework: django, fastapi, flask
• Google service: Cloud run +Google IAM
• Docker concept: creating docker image and deploying it as cloud run services.
• API Gateway knowledge : Basic understanding of any API gateway tool like kong , apigee.

Salary ranges (for employees in Lithuania only): from 4000 € gross (the given range is flexible and depends on your experience).
