We are seeking high-performing individuals to join our team as Account Managers. You will be responsible for developing a client base from the ground up, cultivating strong relationships with key stakeholders, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth.

Our Account Managers enjoy a competitive first-year OTE of 90k, with top performers exceeding this and earning $150k-200k annually in their second year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Re-engage closed accounts, drive portfolio growth through strategic outbound sales efforts, and acquire new accounts to expand the client base
  • Develop and optimize relationships with prospective and existing clients to maximize revenue through discovery, rapport building, and consistent follow-up
  • Tailor product recommendations to meet client' needs, address objections, and identify suitable products
  • Conduct Client Account Reviews (CARs) to assess performance, manage budgets, and ensure client satisfaction
  • Create and deliver engaging sales presentations, highlighting the benefits of our products and services
  • Meet revenue targets through client retention, cross-selling and upselling
  • Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to your clients
  • Provide a best-in-class experience to help our clients achieve their business goals with SmartFinancial’s products and services

Requirements

  • 3+ years experience in sales or account management with a focus on hunting new business
  • Proven experience in relationship management, with the ability to build rapport with clients and internal teams
  • Experience with heavy outbound calling
  • Insurance or marketplace experience is a plus
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong attention to detail and effective phone sales skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly, learn new concepts, and continuously drive improvement for success
  • Deadline-oriented with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM PST
