O que buscamos?


We are looking for a Platform Product Manager to lead the development of an Internal Developer Platform (Backstage-based), along with the technical infrastructure it requires and the templates available for developers. 

You will be responsible for defining the vision, strategy, and roadmap, for the IDP&Infrastructure Team, ensuring the releases are aligned with the needs of the development teams and the business strategy. You will be working with a technical team of Architects, DevOps Engineers, and Software Engineers. 


RESPONSIBILITIES AND ASSIGNMENTS

O que você precisa ter:


  • Demonstrable knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD concepts and good practices. 
  • Familiarity with Architectural concepts such as Microservices and Event-driven architecture.  
  • Familiarity with container technologies and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes). 
  • Familiarity with Cloud architecture concepts. 
  • Previous experience working as a software developer, DevOps engineer or equivalent. 



O que você irá fazer:


  • Work closely with the CTO to define and articulate the vision for the IDP and the technical infrastructure. 
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand needs, gather feedback, and set priorities. 
  • Manage the product backlog, creating and refining user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritizing tasks. 
  • Plan and track releases. 
  • Work closely with the team. Support the development team with any questions they may have. 
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to keep the platform competitive and aligned with industry best practices. 
  • Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical teams, ensuring alignment and clear understanding of product goals.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Formação e engajamento desejáveis:


  • English level: C1 or higher. 
  • Proven experience as Product Owner or Product Manager. 
  • Proven experience as a manager in technical teams (platform teams, SRE teams, API teams, etc) 
  • Ability to articulate and advocate for the product vision to stakeholders at various levels. 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. 
  • Experience with agile software development methodologies. 
  • Familiarity with backlog management tools (such as JIRA). 
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
