Job Overview: 

We are seeking an experienced and driven HR People Operations Specialist to join our team. This role is critical in enhancing our human resources functions, ensuring smooth and efficient people operations, and supporting our recruitment processes. The HR People Ops Specialist will be responsible for various HR tasks, including onboarding, talent acquisition, employee relations, and culture initiatives. The ideal candidate is passionate about personal growth, company culture, and people development, and thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

People Operations: 

  • Support new hire orientations. 

  • Assist leadership with onboarding and training communication and SOPs. 

  • Identify and research internal HR software, systems, tools for process improvements. 

  • Assist in maintaining the company intranet and learning management system. 

  • Administer culture initiatives, learning and development, performance reviews, and additional training for employees. 

  • Coordinate communications for employee work anniversaries and company events. 

  • Assist in creating fun and rewarding experiences such as team-building events and growth path check-ins. 

  • Work as part of the HR Team on various initiatives/projects as needed. 

Talent Acquisition: 

  • Support the management of candidate funnels and identify top candidates. 

  • Monitor, optimize, and manage job ad campaigns via LinkedIn and Hireology. 

  • Collect requirements from hiring managers with the outcomes of creating humanized, relatable job ads that drive engagement. 

  • Help document SOPs and processes for hiring manager interviewing and feedback loops. 

  • Pre-screen and interview candidates to assess skills, experience, and cultural fit. 

  • Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers. 

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records and notes. 

  • Work closely with teams and Recruitment to support successful placements. 

Requirements: 

  • 2-3 years of experience in HR, recruiting, and people operations. 

  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. 

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 

  • Proficiency in HR software and tools. 

  • Proficiency with Slack, Outlook, Sharepoint, Zoom, Airtable, and Calendly 

  • Experience utilizing ATS software for talent management and talent mapping. 

  • Some experience with Asana, ClickUp, or project management tools is a plus. 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

  • Be self-directed with the ability to work in a team environment. 

  • Passionate about personal growth, company culture, and people development. 

  • Ability to multitask and manage various responsibilities simultaneously.
