Job Overview:
Tactacam is seeking a talented Copywriter to join our team. The Copywriter will play a crucial role in crafting compelling and engaging copy for our e-commerce sites and mobile/web applications across multiple product lines, including trail cameras and bird feeder cameras. Tactacam is a rapidly growing company with a loyal customer base and expanding product offerings.
Responsibilities:
Develop clear and engaging copy that reflects our brand voice and resonates with our target audience.
Write product descriptions, website content, landing pages, and marketing materials for various platforms.
Collaborate with marketing, design, and product teams to ensure alignment of messaging with overall brand strategy.
Create clear and concise instructions within mobile applications to enhance user experience and usability.
Conduct research to understand market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to enhance messaging effectiveness.
Optimize copy for SEO to increase organic traffic and improve search engine rankings.
Proofread and edit copy to ensure it is grammatically correct, error-free, and meets brand standards.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Copywriter or similar role, preferably within ecommerce or technology sectors.
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong attention to detail.
Ability to adapt writing style to different audiences and platforms.
Knowledge of SEO best practices and familiarity with keyword research tools.
Experience in creating instructional content for mobile applications or software interfaces is a plus.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
Desired:
Experience with outdoor products or technology-related industries.
Familiarity with CMS platforms and basic HTML.
Portfolio showcasing a range of writing samples across different mediums.
