The Strategic Process Systems Analyst is responsible for assigned development projects involving system technologies designed to reduce costs, save time, improve quality and/or improve customer service throughout the organization. This role entails diverse responsibilities to include code development, testing, client communication, documentation, and training as defined by technology and business needs.

What you will do

  • Provide support and technical involvement typically for one assigned technology; May be cross trained on additional technologies to provide back-up and/or extended basic support coverage dictated by business need
  • Technologies include, but not limited to Pega Platform, OnBase, InfoPath, FileNet, Web based guided user platforms, Microsoft Access and other workflow technologies; Plan Express, Seismic or Smart Submission or other contracts and agreements applications, Implementation Module on PSC,  as well as working knowledge of internal systems such as EASY Recordkeeping platform and retirement plan lifecycle
  • Responsible for the basic support or entry level development and delivery of new functionality, maintenance packages, and daily technology support; including user interface software tools, processes/procedures for handling new products
  • Responsible for test plan development, thorough user acceptance and functional testing of owned processes and technologies to ensure product deployments with no system outages or client impact
  • Develop and utilize thorough entry level working knowledge of the specific areas within the organization, as well as business, products, finance and technology.
  • Define and manage to timelines, established based on client deliverables and product prioritization
  • Conduct problem analysis, prepares recommendations for action working under direction of senior and/or lead analyst
  • Support projects from the original concept through final implementation. 
  • Ensure factual, timely and quality project tracking, analysis and reporting.
  • Engage in standard or basic assignments dependent on the technology and stage of the project lifecycle to include, process analysis, performing development, testing, documentation and training
  • Review deliverables to ensure developed solutions match requirements and adhere to current business standards. Obtains sign-off on all deliverables from key parties
  • Competent participation in internal/external client calls related to development, maintenance and production support
  • Provide operational support and training to the business regarding new policies, procedures and products directly related to assigned projects and deliverables.

What you will bring

  • Bachelor's Degree (IT, Business, Finance) or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum 3-5 years prior project management experience, utilizing business analysis skills on technical projects and/or systems reporting required.
  • Deep background in retirement plan administration preferred or 2-3 years business process management experience or Pega Certifications - Business Architect Preferred or 3-5 yrs Pega or business process management experience
  • FINRA fingerprinting required.

  • Experience working in Retirement Service preferred. Experience with XML structures, SQL, smart forms and Pega systems, Onbase, Filenet, SalesForce applications also a plus.

Base Salary Range

$76,300.00 - $107,800.00

The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
