Sr. Golang Engineer at AccelOne

We are seeking an experienced Golang Engineer who is passionate about building robust and efficient applications.

About our Project

Our client is a major US business company focused on selling greeting cards, gift wraps, and related products in more than 30 languages with distribution in nearly 100 countries. Moreover, it has a Media branch that operates three cable channels, which features an ambitious slate of new, original content, including movies, scripted series, and annual specials.

Role Summary

• Design, develop, test, and deploy high-performance, scalable applications using Golang.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and distribute knowledge.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and design specifications.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Golang and related technologies.
• Mentor and guide junior developers to foster their growth and development.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on Golang.
• Strong understanding of Golang's core principles, concurrency patterns, and best practices.
• Experience with RESTful API design and implementation.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with database design and optimization.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and related patterns.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
• Contributions to open-source projects or a strong portfolio of personal projects.
