What You Will Do:

The Guidehouse Commercial Healthcare Payer/Provider candidate will have experience in the healthcare industry, preferably in performance improvement within Health Systems, Hospitals, Health Plans or Physician Groups. Specifically, the successful candidate:

  • Will use expertise in manipulating data using Excel, Access, and other applications, coordinating teamwork products, and leading teams.

  • You will work on the Guidehouse Commercial Healthcare team driving margin and operational improvement at client provider organizations through a combination of data and business process analysis, project management, and deliverable creation.

  • You will quickly develop subject matter expertise and business acumen to become a recognized, credible, and trusted partner to our clients.

  • Use your curiosity and enthusiasm with client and Guidehouse teams to assess and implement performance improvement opportunities and savings initiatives relevant in the hospital environment

  • You will concisely articulate financial results of projects and speak about process measures

  • You will Identify key industry issues and assists to develop practice response

  • You will assist in delivering Statements of Work, Project Plans, Writes Proposals, Presents to Client department managers or leaders in certain situations;

  • Actively works to expand consulting skills and professional development through training courses, mentoring, and interaction with clients

What You Will Need:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree from an accredited University or College

  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant work experience

  • Demonstrate an understanding of hospital and health system operations

  • Able to benchmark data and leverage that data to assist clients in redesigning operational processes to drive efficiency

  • Ability to conduct relevant research, perform complex analytics on large data sets, and draw conclusions / make relevant recommendations based on analyses performed -(including a proficiency in Microsoft Office applications)

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time

  • As part of the interview process for this opportunity, candidates will be asked to complete an industry-specific case study. The case study will be a presentation the prompt for which will be provided 48 hours in advance of the scheduled interview.

  • Communicates effectively and demonstrates leadership role with physicians, clinicians, administrators, colleagues, and fellow Supply Chain resources

  • Aptitude to develop foundational training materials

  • Comfortable interfacing with hospital executives to report realized savings and to develop strategies for ongoing risk mitigation

The annual salary range for this position is $94,900.00-$142,300.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
