Job Description:
We are seeking a meticulous and proactive QA/Automation Tester to join our Salesforce project scrum team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation testing, a deep understanding of QA processes, and hands-on experience with tools like Selenium/ Copado/ AccelQ. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a passion for quality, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Automation Testing: Design, develop, and execute automated tests using tools like Selenium/Copado/AccelQ, and other relevant technologies.
Manual Testing: Perform comprehensive manual testing as needed to ensure the functionality, performance, and reliability of the Salesforce applications.
Test Case Development: Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
Bug Identification and Reporting: Identify, document, and track bugs using JIRA or similar bug tracking tools. Collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
Continuous Improvement: Continuously enhance testing processes and automation frameworks. Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
Collaboration: Work closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure high-quality software delivery.
Agile Practices: Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other agile ceremonies. Contribute to a positive and productive team culture.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience: 3-6 years of QA experience in the IT industry, with a strong focus on automation testing.
Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Selenium/ Copado/ AccelQ and other automation testing tools. Strong scripting skills (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).
Salesforce Expertise: Strong knowledge of Salesforce platform and its various components (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience etc.).
Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to think critically and analytically to identify potential issues.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to clearly document and convey complex technical information.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment. Strong interpersonal skills.
Agile Methodology: Experience working in agile/scrum teams. Familiarity with agile practices and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
Ability to perform tasks with minimal supervision. Demonstrate complete ownership and accountability of project deliverables.
Certifications: Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder) are a plus.
