System Designation: Quality Analyst
Location: Remote
Your Responsibilities:
● Test Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project
requirements. Execute manual and automated tests using tools such as Selenium, QTP, JIRA, and
TestNG to identify issues.
● Defect Management: Log, track, and manage defects using our bug-tracking system. Collaborate
with developers to ensure timely resolution.
● Quality Assurance: Ensure that all products meet our high standards of quality through rigorous
testing and validation processes. Participate in code reviews and provide feedback from a quality
assurance perspective.
● Continuous Improvement: Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily
stand-ups, and retrospectives to continuously improve our testing processes and practices.
● Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of test cases, test results, and defect reports.
● Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, product
management, and support, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of products.
● Conduct manual testing where automated testing is not feasible, ensuring thorough coverage of
all functional requirements.
● Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and frameworks to enhance overall product
quality.
Required Skills and Experience:
● Experience: 2-6 years of experience in quality assurance and testing.
● Technical Skills:
● Proficiency in manual testing and automated testing tools such as Selenium, QTP, JIRA, and
TestNG.
● Experience with Agile methodologies and working in Agile teams.
● Experience with testing principles and practices in a Microservices, API-first, Cloud-native, and
Headless (MACH) architecture.
● Expertise in automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG).
● Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) and SQL for database validation.
● Proficiency in writing and maintaining test scripts for REST APIs and GraphQL endpoints.
● Strong knowledge of both frontend (JavaScript, React) and backend (Java, Node.js) technologies.
● Familiarity with source code control platforms such as GitHub, BitBucket, etc.
● Experience in performance testing and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling).
● Comprehensive understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
● Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis.
● Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality
results.
● Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey
complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
● Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapt to changing
priorities
Highly Desirable Skills:
● Exposure to SaaS / PaaS - Enterprise B2B software, ERP, and CRM platforms.
● Understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their testing environments.
● Experience with integrating testing tools into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
● Familiarity with mobile testing frameworks (e.g., Appium, Espresso).
● Good UI and UX testing skills, with an eye for detail in user interface design and usability.
● Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) for test
environments.
