Your missions

Purpose of the position:

To fully embed Sustainability in Pernod Ricard’s business operations, the Sustainable Business team is catalyzing the creation and implementation of actionable ESG group strategies. To reach its sustainability targets related to Environment, a new Nature & Climate division is centralizing the environmental topics expertise to follow and support teams achieving targets.

As Nature impacts manager, you will play a crucial role in developing and leading the strategy following the SBTn framework and drive progress regarding nature and biodiversity KPIs.

You key missions:

Global Nature Strategy 

  • ​​You will lead the development and refinement of Pernod Ricard's global Nature strategy alongside the Group climate strategy
  • You will design the global Nature regeneration framework and its associated metrics
  • You will ensure the alignment with external standards like Science Based Targets Nature (SBTN) or TNFD (Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures) as well as CSRD requirements
  • ​​You will collaborate with internal teams to integrate nature-based solutions into broader sustainability and business strategies. ​ 

Nature Targets Monitoring 

  • You will assess Pernod Ricard baseline global footprint on Nature
  • For a defined scope and in collaboration with key stakeholders, you will set global and local targets
  • You will implement monitoring and reporting systems to track progress against Nature Targets
  • ​​You will promote Nature based solution to mitigate risks and restore vulnerable ecosystems. ​ 

Initiatives Management & Stakeholder Engagement

  • You will partner with internal and external stakeholders to: 
  • Design and execute projects aimed at preserving or restoring ecosystems and natural habitats, contributing to the regeneration of landscapes impacted by business activities. 
  • Assess and optimize the use of natural resources in the supply chain, promoting sustainable practices and minimizing negative impacts. 

CSRD Reporting

  • You will conduct risk and impact assessment on nature related to natural systems and validation of IROs related to ESRS related to Nature (e.g., E2 Pollution, E3 Water, E4 Biodiversity)
  • You will act as ESRS coordinator by collaborating with various departments to consolidate the identified KPIs required for CSRD reporting (according to process and timeline).
  • You will comment on quantitative & qualitative data points if needed during the internal audit process.

Main internal / external interactions on this position:

  • You will mainly interact with operations’ teams including procurement, supply chain, R&I; as well as NGOs, TCFD group and consultants.

Required experiences and skills:

  • You have a Master’s degree in engineering, environmental science, sustainability, or natural resource management
  • You have proven experience of 5+ years in environmental management, impact/risk valuation or ESG reporting
  • You have a deep understanding of biodiversity conversation, ecosystem services and the interplay between nature and climate change
  • You have experience in ESG reporting and SBTs framework
  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability of effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • You are fluent in English and French
