Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions (BEWS) is the group responsible for leading Ericsson’s Enterprise Networking and Security business. How Will You Contribute to the Company?
The Instructional Designer will serve the organization within the Enterprise Learning department building learning programs to enable channel partners and staff in surfacing opportunities and positioning the Private Networks portfolio. The work includes design, development and continuous improvement of learning programs and assets to support these technologies. Reporting to the Manager of Learning Content, the role includes supporting partners in accessing content in the learning management system. Specific functions include interfacing with subject matter experts and stakeholders in the Private Networks solutions and collaborating with all functions within Enterprise Learning including Content, Systems and Experience to align design and development processes with the full Enterprise Wireless portfolio.
Collaborate on the integration of the Enterprise Wireless Solutions learning management system, branding and migration of legacy user learning data and content in support of multiple audiences including channel, carriers, customers, and staff.
As the portfolio of technology offerings continually evolve, participate in learning experience improvement and support instructional design and learning systems efforts as needed.
What Will You Do?
Lead and manage learning projects including identification of dependencies, delivery of project elements, coordination of the review process with subject matter experts and stakeholders, identification and mitigation of risks to timeline
Work closely with stakeholders and subject matter experts to identify target audience’s training needs and develop learning objectives, knowledge checks and assessments
Create engaging learning experiences, activities and compelling course content that enhances learner retention using Articulate 360 including Storyline and Rise and relevant design tools for microlearning and enables instructor-led sessions with product experts
Apply adult learning principles and instructional design methodology to all efforts to ensure content enables learners to achieve learning objectives
Create material/media (audio, video, and online interactions), selecting optimal media format for projects. Edit media content for a consistent, error free learning experience. Create and integrate interactive elements including graphics and other content
Participate in LMS data and content migration, as well as support and administration of the LMS with all partners
Participate in an analysis of global learning needs with global distributors and Enterprise Wireless Solutions regional teams to ascertain distinct learning needs leveraging insights from prior general assessments
Able to work independently, and as part of a team to produce, edit, and review learning content for delivery
Participate in all levels of quality assurance including eLearning user testing and editorial and continuous improvement for individual projects and to support the Enterprise Learning team members’ efforts
Continually improve deliverables and process by participating in learning industry training and collaborating with peers in the field
Consistently improve knowledge of the evolution of Ericsson Private Networks solutions and the portfolio of Enterprise Wireless technology
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor or master’s degree in Instructional Design, Organizational Performance, Workplace Learning, related degree, or relevant work experience
Two to three (2-3+) years’ experience in an instructional design or learner experience role in corporate learning
Experience designing curriculum for sales and technical audiences
Experience with assessing learner needs
Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts and video scripts
Possesses project management skills including timeline estimates, identification of dependencies, delivery of project elements, coordinates review process, identifying risks to timeline
Exceptional editorial skills and is thorough and meticulous in all deliverables
Ability to work with a variety of technology including Articulate 360, Microsoft 360, Asana
Capable of managing multiple priorities, tasks, and deliverables on time

Preferred Qualifications:
Various authoring tools and Adobe Premier or Creative Cloud
Subject matter expertise of private networks and enterprise wireless technology
Experience with adapting content for global efforts

The salary range for this position is listed below. The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
$67,200.00 - $124,800.00
Your pay also includes the opportunity for an annual bonus. This variable pay opportunity is dependent upon the attainment of agreed to goals and objectives as determined by our Senior Leadership team. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply.

Please note that an employee’s FTO balance and floating holidays may be prorated in the first year, based on start date. We also offer paid maternity-leave benefits and six weeks 100% paid family leave for all employees.
