About the role

We want to hear from you today if you can:

  • The Head of Network and Perimeter security will oversee and manage all disciplines related to Network and Perimeter technologies, including, managed service security providers where appropriate, both design and engineering.
  • This position will be responsible for the implementation and management of cyber security in all hybrid environments including colocations and public cloud.
  • They will interface with multiple Line of Business CIO's to develop and support innovative security solutions to minimize risk and streamline business processes.  
  • Provide support and direction for Network Security architecture and drive Network Security in multiple architecture forums and senior leadership discussions

Please note: The job can only be performed in the State locations listed: Houston, TX and Remote-NC.

What we are looking for

  • Extensive technical experience in Cybersecurity and Information Technology, ideally in individual contributor and leadership roles
  • Experience with cyber security implementations within a on-premise and Cloud operating environments
  • Experience working with threat intelligence and security operations organizations in response to the latest security threats
  • Experience developing cyber defense strategy including multiple layers of defense
  • Previous leadership experience in medium sized to large teams
  • Demonstrated ability coach direct reports and effectively manage talent and performance
  • Experience with different privacy and regulatory concerns to include areas like NYDFS and GDPR
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity governance, design, and operations
  • Ten (10+) years of cyber security architecture and engineering experience
  • Strong ability to communicate via written and verbal communication in both formal and casual situations
  • Lead a team of professionals. Inspire and motivate the team, as well as peers and the broader organization, establishing a presence as a collaborative and inclusive leader, who engenders organizational trust and alignment.
  • Lead through example, demonstrating a global mindset and openness to a diversity of perspectives.
