Job Description

SUMMARY

Coordinates and manages the daily maintenance and repair needs for all assigned store locations to ensure that our stores provide a comfortable and safe environment for our team members and customers.  Perform duties as necessary to provide coverage for Team Leaders during their absence and in conjunction with stretch projects as assigned. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for the daily receipt and prioritization of service requests from store team. Responding to problems in a tactful and expedient manner.
  • Coordinates work assignments among building technicians, vendors and contractors.  Scheduling maintenance of all HVAC, plumbing, electrical, doors and all other components of the facility.
  • Reviews backlogged work orders to ensure that assignments are completed in a timely manner.
  • Review submitted quotes, within signing authority, for correct scope of work and pricing based on usual and customary rates; solicit comparable quotes as necessary.  Prepare quotes, including recommendations, above signing authority for submittal to supervisor for approval.
  • Adhere to annual expense plan to support the needs of our retail locations.
  • Review all maintenance & repair projects to ensure that all possible warranty issues are submitted as warranty work to reduce unnecessary expense.
  • Follow up with store team to ensure quality of work performed by vendor/landlord representatives
  • Serve as direct contact for Store Managers, Division Managers and Landlords for any facilities management-related issues.
  • Ensures accuracy of all facilities management records to include, but not be limited to, information pertaining to maintenance repairs/replacements in the facilities management software, landlord documentation for store maintenance files, etc. 
  • Participates in meetings for facilities matters including ongoing Team Member engagement and expense reduction planning.
  • Assist other facilities management team members by sharing of best practices, providing guidance on quotes or verifying scope of work of a project, setting examples for “thinking outside the box”
  • Provide coverage for Facilities Management Team Leaders as necessary.
  • Assist Facilities Management Team Leaders in vendor recruitment, selection and performance management.
  • Perform stretch assignments in coordination with the Facilities Management Team Leaders/VP to increase exposure to leadership situations/issues.

  • This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year institution; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

  • Ability to read and comprehend common facilities management documents, instructions, journals, and leases
  • Must be able to effectively communicate in writing and verbally with the Operations Team and with service providers
  • Must have the ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other team members

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations

REASONING ABILITY

  • Ability to define problems, establishes facts, draw conclusions, and make decisions in a timely manner.
  • Ability to multi task and prioritize based upon varying degrees of information provided.

Compensation Range

44,250.00 USD PER YEAR - 51,625.00 USD PER YEAR
