Job Description:
Aeyon is seeking motivated students who are passionate knowledge management problem solvers to join its team. Qualified candidates will be inquisitive by nature and take a creative, holistic, and systematic approach to problem-solving.
This is a 10-week internship starting in June 2024 with weekly checkpoints and a cumulating capstone presentation mid-August. The intern will be embedded with a business development team with the opportunity to make real-world impacts. The internship allows for 75% remote work with the opportunity for in-person work, and a laptop will be provided. The candidate will progress through responsibilities in knowledge management (KM) utilizing technology like SharePoint to identify, consolidate, metadata tag, and organize project and non-project specific documentation across the company. The intern will promote knowledge sharing through the organization's operational business processes and make recommendations for improvement. Upon successful completion of the internship the candidate will have the opportunity to apply for Aeyon jobs to begin following graduation.
Position Responsibilities:
• Capture requirements for and lead the development of a SharePoint-based knowledge management and workflow system to capture and organize all project-specific related documentation such as proposals, graphics, and past performances
• Assists in the content architecture and strategy across the organization towards an effective and successful knowledge base, bettering customer, and employee experiences, driving business results
• Drive a culture of knowledge sharing, ensuring teams are aware of the knowledge management tools like SharePoint and resources available to support their work, are appropriately trained and are using the systems efficiently and productively
• Strategize, build, land and sustain a coherent, integrated knowledge management processes and tools that enable the KM journey and impact across the org
• Closely partner, promote, and disseminate information on KM to stakeholders across organization and broader Microsoft ecosystem
• Support the design, development, and maintenance of business processes and their associated inputs, tools, and outputs
• Provide recommendations for technical efficiencies and process improvements
Experience Requirements:
• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a math or business field, or a science degree such as engineering, computer science or a related STEM field
• Possess the aptitude to gain understanding of technical problems, model solutions, and overcome knowledge and still gaps through research, learning and collaboration
• Practice growth mindset, open to new ideas; shares own knowledge; applies knowledge in daily work; builds partnerships for learning and knowledge sharing
• Can demonstrate communication, presentation, and time management skills
Mandatory:
• Experience with Office 365 or Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to competently discuss the application of technology and present your learning
Waiverable/Substitutable:
• Preferred: experience with MS Sharepoint and coding experience
