Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Work on the migration from PHP monoliths to the new microservice architecture
  • Lead the end-to-end development of scalable and high-performance solutions ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.
  • Design and development of microservices (Go) in accordance with established standards
  • Set and enforce high standards of code quality, implement best practices in code reviews, automated testing, and continuous integration processes
  • Ensure proper service alerting, perform service monitoring and incident mitigation
  • Share Knowledge: Evolve junior developers, sharing knowledge and best practices, and guiding them through complex technical challenges.
     

​Requirements:

  • 2 years+ of work experience as a Go Software Engineer
  • 5 years+ of work experience as a Software Engineer
  • Knowledge of architecture/design methods and patterns, data and API specifications, quality assurance, and testing methods
  • Experience in software development, supporting the design and development of large-scale, distributed software applications 
  • Experience in PHP 7+, Laravel, Symfony (to support migration from monolith to microservices)
  • Experience with MySQL, Postgres, and working with large data volumes
  • Experience with microservices and cloud architectures (ex. Google Cloud Platform, Docker)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to apply logical and analytical thinking to complex problems
  • Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits
  • English intermediate (B1)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work autonomously in a team environment
