Job Description

As a Backend Engineer you will be responsible for shaping the server infrastructure that powers our player management system. You will collaborate with a talented team of engineers, designers, and artists to create a seamless and engaging world for our players.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems and APIs to support various game features, including player interactions, game mechanics, and data storage.
• Implement security best practices to protect user data, prevent cheating, and secure communication between clients and servers.

• Participate in all aspects of the project life-cycle, from concept, to specification to release to live support
• Collaborate with frontend engineers, game designers, and other stakeholders to integrate backend services seamlessly into the overall game architecture.

Skills & Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in software development
• Deep-level knowledge of SQL
• Proficient in C# Development
• Experience in general database management
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and analytical skills
• Ability to clearly and articulately communicate across functions, disciplines, and audiences
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills while exercising sound judgment
• AA+ game experience
• Great communication and leadership skills and also being a team player
• Fluent in English, both verbally and written

As a pluses:

• Unreal Engine knowledge
• Experience and understanding in rust and blockchain development
