Your missions

Become an Outcoder as a Mid Senior QA Automation Engineer

As a QA Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify test requirements and create automated test suites that cover critical aspects of our products.

What you’ll need to be successful:

Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
2 to 5 years of experience in QA automation.
Intermediate experience with Selenium, Cucumber, and Gherkin.
Intermediate knowledge of JavaScript and ECMAScript (min v6).
Experience with test case management tools like XRay.
Understanding of automation strategies and regression testing.
Basic knowledge of the testing pyramid (unit tests, integration tests, UI tests).
Experience working with multidisciplinary, multicultural, and multigenerational teams.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with exploratory testing and usability testing.
Knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and related frameworks.
Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices.
Experience with other test automation tools such as RobotFramework and Capybara.
Understanding of Specification by Example and Acceptance Testing.
Ability to develop automated and manual tests, test cases, and test result reports.
ISTQB® Certified Tester – Foundation Level.
ISTQB® Certified Tester – Test Automation Engineer (CT-TAE).
ISTQB® Certified Tester – Mobile Application Testing.
AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner.
