Overview: Data Scientist plays a critical role in developing advanced analytics models to solve complex business problems, leveraging expertise in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and AI.

Job Description:

  • Develop and implement statistical models and machine learning algorithms to address complex business challenges and drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis, data cleaning, and preprocessing to prepare datasets for effective modeling and analysis.
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders, ensuring the successful deployment and integration of data-driven solutions within business processes.
  • Actively contribute to the team's knowledge sharing, providing guidance and mentorship to junior data scientists and fostering a collaborative learning environment.
  • Conduct model evaluation and validation, ensuring the accuracy, robustness, and reliability of developed models.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and AI technologies, applying new techniques and tools as appropriate.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field, with a focus on Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and AI.
  • Proven expertise in Python and its data science libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
  • Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) & Data Engineering concepts and tools.
  • Familiarity with data platforms such as Snowpark and Dataiku is preferred.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and AI concepts and techniques, with practical experience in developing and implementing models.
  • Expertise in Python, including extensive experience with libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and other relevant tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to tackle complex data challenges and derive meaningful insights.
  • Effective communication skills, capable of clearly conveying complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Domain knowledge in a particular industry, with the ability to apply technical skills to solve real-world problems and enhance business processes.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, with a proactive approach to knowledge sharing and mentorship.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
  • Understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is advantageous.
