Entity Development Business Analyst

The role in a nutshell:

As the Entity Maintenance Business Analyst you will develop close working relationships directly with key internal stakeholders and with external intermediaries to ensure Entity Management complies with all relevant regulatory, legal and jurisdictional requirements, ensuring adherence to applicable policies and procedures, at all times. You will also be responsible for actively managing risk and ensuring the on-going operational compliance of all Safeguard entities, whilst proactively identifying risk issues and developing solutions. The employee will play a pivotal role in supporting our Entity Management operations.

How you will make a difference:

• Diligent Administration – contribute and ensure that Diligent remains the source of truth for accurate entity information and documentation    
• Maintain project plans, ROI, and develop KPI metrics and a reporting framework to accurately articulate project performance where targeted on SLAs.
• Coordinate corporate compliance activities, such as annual meetings and filings, insurance renewals and license renewals        
• Keeping company records updated, Documents and authorized signatory management
• Validating Directors, Officers and Powers of Authority/Attorney.
  • License information research and application to supports business needs.
  • Supporting Audits from local authorities
  • Sourcing and providing KYC, Ultimate Beneficiary Owners to relevant service providers
• Keep up to date on legal/regulatory/tax-based (accounting/reporting?) developments or changes that could affect Entity compliance globally.
• Ensure the Safeguard Global business is compliant with local regulations and laws applicable to Employment Outsourcing, Accounting, Payroll and HR Consulting.
• Acts with the highest level of integrity at all times and in the best interests of Safeguard Global at all times
• Promptly report any issues (or possible issues) you identify to your manager (or an appropriate member of the senior management team) for consideration and resolution using the case management framework.
• Manage Safeguard Global expenditure on external counsel and all professional services ensuring  within budget.
• Evaluate, adapt and apply industry best practices related to entity management methodologies and processes to help improve outcomes on assigned business initiatives.
• Working with third party vendors to obtain upcoming compliance updates and manage the      change process ensuring our entities follow in-country compliance as per business needs.
• Assist in legal research, data collection, and the preparation of legal documents as required.
• Communicate with key stakeholders and manage third party services vendors when necessary and as instructed.    
• Structure process and manage company POAs.          
• Licence Renewal Legal documentation.

• 6+ years’ experience in an office environment and comfortable in a Hybrid model.
• Strong skills using Smartsheets.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining high productivity and attention to detail.
• A working knowledge of governance and company entity matters.
• Strong experience of having worked in a global business environment.
• Experience in managing third party service providers to deliver requests.
• Addressing escalations and identifying proposed paths to resolution.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with business leaders, stakeholders, and management to drive achievement of goals, resolve conflicts, and gain consensus.
•      Ability to identify and diagnose problems and develop solutions or improvements independently and provide and supervise the implementation of recommendations.
• Experience of working in a high volume, process driven environment and balancing multiple priorities and deadlines.
• The ability to develop and nurture relationships with internal business partners, our external network and Senior Leadership
• Ability to influence other internal senior management peers with regards to the entity management strategy
• Possess strong analytical, decision making and prioritization skills
