Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly strategic and proactive Senior Strategic Program Manager to lead key initiatives that align with our organization's long-term objectives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex projects or programs, with an emphasis on strategic planning and execution. This role requires a leader who can help craft innovative strategies and drive their successful implementation to enhance our competitive edge and achieve substantial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Define program scopes, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
Establish and manage program timelines, milestones, and budgets to ensure programs are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
Identify, assess, and minimize risks throughout the program lifecycle, implementing contingency plans as necessary.
Measure program performance using appropriate tools and techniques to track progress, identify necessary changes, and deliver operational excellence.
Foster stakeholder relationships by providing regular updates, managing expectations, and ensuring ongoing engagement with the program's strategic direction.
Champion continuous improvement efforts, leveraging feedback and analytics to refine program strategies and processes.
Mentor and develop project and program managers within the team, enhancing their capabilities in strategic program management.
Minimal travel; 10%.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in project or program management, with at least 1 year in a strategic role or managing strategy-focused programs.
Demonstrated ability to lead strategic initiatives and manage large, complex projects with cross-functional teams.
Strong analytical and decision-making abilities with a proven track record of successfully implementing strategic programs.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, capable of motivating and guiding teams and stakeholders at all levels.
Proficiency in project/program management software and tools.
PMP, PgMP, or similar certification is highly desirable.
