Job Summary:

Work remote from anywhere in California! The Assistant Account Manager (AAM) works closely with producers and account managers to handle day-to-day client relationships. The AAM assists with client insurance programs, including endorsements, certificates, auto ID cards, and checking and binding policies.

Responsibilities:

  • Non-pay cancellations/reinstatements - Once notified by accounting, follow up with carrier and or insured for payment, update notes on activity with status information, When payment received close activity, notify Account Execuitive if payment is not received.

  • Pre-renewal – Create pre-renewal worksheets, loss summaries, building valuations, look up workers compensation exp mode, req CPAP application.

  • Renewal - Issue ID Cards, rate policies as requested by AM via carrier website, or contact underwriter.

  • Policy checking - Review renewing policy against binding notes/quotes/proposal to ensure accuracy of coverage limits, name insured, etc., notify carrier via email for changes/discrepancies to update policy, update APOL, or RPOL activity with notes once policy checking is complete, and send final policy to insured.

  • Audits - Ensure accuracy of premium, class code, payroll, etc., notify AE of large audit premium increases, order audit worksheet from carrier if needed, notify carrier of inaccuracies/changes if applicable, follow up through conclusion.

  • Alerts/mail – Download documents from company websites, access mail folder, review documents for processing, attach documents to EPIC client file, add activity (APOL or RPOL), process changes, update billing screens, follow up with carriers if needed, notify clients as required, update activity.

  • Perform other job duties as requested by Account Manager/Account Executive. This description is not meant to be all-inclusive and may be modified from time to time at the discretion of management.

Requirements:

  • Possess a minimum of 1 year of experience working with B2B insurance clientele

  • Effective time management abilities

  • Clear communication skills via email and telephone

  • Attention to detail

  • Proficient computer skills including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

  • EPIC experience a plus.

  • Willing to obtain California P&C license

Education/Experience:

  • High School Diploma or recognized equivalent is required

Pay Details:

Annual Salary: $55,000 - $65,000
