Overview:

Reporting to our Corporate Accounting Manager, you will join our global accounting team.

You will: 

• Prepare and reconcile monthly and quarterly closing work papers (ie. leases, fixed assets, equity, other)
• Prepare and record monthly journal entries
• Assist with monthly and quarterly consolidation process
• Assist with monthly analytical procedures - compile 
• Assist with preparation of the Company’s Consolidated Financial Statements; compile consolidating schedules supporting footnote disclosures
• Perform research and assist in the preparation of accounting analyses to support/sustain the Company’s position on accounting matters or other disclosure requirements in accordance with US GAAP
• Participate in the implementation and optimization of new systems and processes
• Take on technical and operational accounting special projects
• Prepare monthly and quarterly roll-forward schedules
• Become an integral part of shortening the monthly closing process time
• Assist with phases of SOX compliance

You have:

• 6+ years of previous accounting experience
• Big 4 or other public accounting experience preferred
• Knowledge of US GAAP
• CA license strongly preferred
• Excel skills (formula design, pivot tables, charts)
• Excellent attitudes towards work and work product
• Experience with data collection, modeling, and what-if scenarios
• Enjoy collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve results through a cross-discipline approach
