What do we need

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as an QA/Application Scientist. You will work with our product team, provide support and training, be responsible for technical assessment of customer needs, and deliver product demonstrations. This role will help customers understand their needs, analyse their data environment, assist in design and implementation of our solutions and aid in integration with their data systems. You will also be responsible for demonstrations and training, technical support, and business development where appropriate.

In this role you will get to: 

  • Work closely with the product development team, be involved in feature development, and do QA testing of algorithms and scientific workflows.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for technical support with customers.
  • Develop customer training materials and tutorials - both written and video.
  • Produce and maintain domain and informatics knowledge in all areas where our solutions are applicable, with a focus on informatics for flow cytometry analysis.
  • Monitor our product roadmaps and software release cycles, and provide feedback into those processes based on knowledge gained from our customers.
  • Understand customer’s scientific and technical needs and then address them through delivery of a sound scientific presentation of our solutions.
  • Assist our marketing teams with preparation and review of product-related content for customer communications.
  • Support our sales processes by leading product demonstrations and technical Q&A sessions with prospective customers.

We are looking for people who have a customer-centric focus with the ability to meet challenges with resourcefulness, generate solutions to achieve a technical win, and develop innovative ideas.  We are looking for people with a Masters or PhD in molecular biology, cell biology, bioinformatics, Immunology or other relevant domain and minimum of 2+ years professional experience. 

The key skills we are looking for are

  • Advanced knowledge with classical and advanced flow cytometry analysis 
  • Wet-laboratory methods and applications in flow cytometry.
  • Translating difficult scientific concepts into a format for a non-specialized audience.
