A leading church-focused website builder company is in search of a skilled Web Designer. As a Web Designer in this pivotal role, you'll have the chance to seamlessly merge technical competence with creative proficiency to craft visually captivating and highly functional websites. We seek a skilled individual proficient in WordPress and CSS, ready to make a meaningful impact in the digital landscape of church communities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize expertise in WordPress to design, develop, and maintain websites tailored to the unique needs of churches. Customize themes and plugins to align with clients' visions and requirements.
• Apply CSS skills to enhance the visual appeal and user experience of websites. Implement custom styles, layouts, and animations to create modern and responsive designs.
• Collaborate with the graphic design team to seamlessly integrate visual elements like logos and banners into website layouts. Ensure consistency in branding and aesthetics across all web pages.
• Work closely with clients to understand their objectives and provide guidance based on best practices in web design and user experience. Maintain open communication to ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure websites function flawlessly across devices and browsers. Address any issues promptly to deliver high-quality end products.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in WordPress and CSS is required.
• Strong portfolio showcasing previous web design projects; experience in working with churches is preferred but not required.
• Solid understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, understanding their needs and translating them into functional design solutions.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work within established timelines.
• Continual learning mindset to stay updated on industry trends and technologies.
• Access to a reliable laptop or desktop computer with necessary software for web design tasks.
• High-speed internet connection for remote collaboration and project management.
• Familiarity with web development tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or Figma is a plus.
• Knowledge of responsive design principles and experience with frameworks like Bootstrap or Foundation is an advantage, but is not required.
