DSV is seeking visionary and experienced professionals to join our Advisory Panel in our Agriculture Sector. This is an unparalleled opportunity to engage closely with our venture creation process and gain early access to groundbreaking innovations in agriculture. As an advisor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our ventures, providing strategic insights, and potentially transitioning into a Founder in Residence, Co-Founder or Advisor roles in one of our high-impact companies focused on agricultural advancements.

The Opportunity

Advisors will be instrumental during the pre-scope phase of our Opportunity Areas (OAs), helping to verify scoping insights and contributing to the foundational stages of our venture creation. This role is particularly crucial as we build out our nitrogen-related initiatives across three distinct OA themes within the nitrogen family.

Your Impact

• Provide expert advice and validation during the pre-scoping and venture creation phases for agricultural projects.
• Establish and nurture connections with our marketing and recruitment teams to enhance the recruitment of Founders in Residence (FIRs).
• Collaborate with DSV associates to build robust advisory boards that attract strategic and sponsor clients in the agricultural sector.
• Engage with our network, offering valuable insights and potentially converting into key roles within new agricultural ventures.

Requirements

Who Should Apply

We are looking for dynamic individuals with the following qualifications:

• Proven expertise in fields relevant to agriculture that align with our sector thesis on restorative cultivation, including but not limited to: agronomy; soil and plant science; veterinary and animal science; agricultural waste management; bioprocess and chemical engineering; green chemistry; metabolic engineering; microbiology; synthetic biology; biochemistry; robotics; water resources management; and carbon and natural capital crediting systems, among others.
• Strong track record of strategic advisory roles or senior leadership positions in the agricultural industry or academia.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with a passion for innovative agricultural science and technology.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the potential interest to transition into a Founder, Co-Founder, or long-term Partner role in agricultural ventures.
