The ideal candidate should have several years of working experience in software development, most especially solid skills in Front-end technologies. You are also skillful in Java enterprise technologies such as J2EE, EJB3 (Wildfly)& Hibernate.

Our client is a well-established progressive FinTech company headquartered in New Zealand. They provide financial software solutions to the financial services and wealth management industry. The company offers a cloud delivered wealth management and asset management platform.

They currently have a small development team in Manila and they are looking for additional talented and self-managing mid to senior full stack developer who can be an integral part of their pioneering team.

This is an awesome career opportunity for someone who is looking for long-term stable career opportunity, and further exposure to the latest technologies and methodologies in software development.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Delivery of the company’s software for client and market requirements
  • Product Support, documentation, Training and 3rd Level Support
  • Application of well-defined design patterns, the creation of the company’s platform which includes Myriad and all the 3rd party components used
  • Refine and enhance the build / build automation, deployment and delivery of the Software Suite releases both internally to support test and development activities and to Clients UAT and Production environments
  • Liaise with Team Leaders, co-senior developers & Infrastructure Services to determine the build and deploy requirements and approach

Requirements

  • Must have at least 5 or more years Software Development experience
  • At least 3-5 years of solid working experience in Java Development experience using J2EE, EJB3, Hibernate
  • At least 4 years of working experience in JSP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, jQuery
  • Experience with SQL/Transact SQL
  • Experience using GIT
  • Experience using JIRA
  • Experience working in an Agile methodology development programme
  • Self-managing and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Excellent English communication skills both written and oral
  • Passionate about good UI design

Advantageous Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT
  • Experience in Node/Next.js
  • Experience in React
  • Kendo UI
  • Build Management tools exposure such as Maven, Bamboo
  • Experience using JIRA
  • Experience configuring and deploying to Wildfly
  • JQueryUI
