As a Sr. Manager, Shopper Insights - Club & HIPE, you'll build and share compelling stories with Customers that provide insight to how shopper behaviors influence our categories. You will serve as the shopper behavior expert by delivering insights-based category presentations and highlighting opportunities. You will establish a proven customer relationship based on building thought leadership. As the shopper behavior expert, you’ll leverage multiple data sources to bring category growth opportunities, shopper insights and shopper-led thought leadership to our category partners across Club and HIPE.

  • You’re passionate about the Shopper - You thrive on putting shoppers needs at the forefront.  You have experience using customer-specific shopper behavior data and understand how to turn insights into actionable recommendations.
  • You're a storyteller - You have a strong ability to interpret, integrate and communicate shopper behavior & POS data.  You can effcetively tell fact-based stories to drive Colgate & category solutions.
  • You're data-driven - You understand how to provide customer-specific recommendations based on your ability to synthesize customer shopper data, insights & point of sale data. 
  • You collaborate - You build key partnerships with the customer, fostering trust and integrity. You also understand how to work cross-functionally across the Colgate-Palmolive organization. 
  • You are a leader - You take the lead by influencing the agenda through collaboration, negotiation and thought leadership. 
  • You are curious - You are constantly looking for opportunities to improve and seek creative solutions. You dig into the reason behind the numbers, review results and uncover key drivers to guide the team accordingly.

 

Required qualifications 

  • Bachelor's Degree 
  • 8+ years of Consumer, Shopper Insights, Shopper Behavior and/or Category Management Experience 
  • Experience working with customer Shopper Behavior Data (Luminate, Dunhumby, ExtraCare, 1010, etc.) 
  • Experience working with Household Panel data (Numerator, Nielsen Panel, etc.) 
  • Experience working with a syndicated service account (Nielsen, IRI) 

 

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience working in consumer product goods 
  • Microsoft Office or Google Suite proficiency (i.e, Sheets, Slides, Docs) 
     


Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $115,200.00 - $163,000.00 USD

Pay is based on multiple non-discriminatory, individualized factors including but not limited to experience, job-related knowledge and education, skills and office/market location. In addition to base salary, salaried employees are eligible for annual discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing and, for Executive-level (salary grade 16 and above) roles only, long-term incentives in the form of Restricted Stock Units and/or Stock Options.

Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable benefits plans then in effect, all salaried employees are also eligible for a competitive benefits package which includes:

  • Insurance: Employees (and their eligible dependents) are eligible to participate in Company-sponsored Medical, Dental, Vision, Basic Life Insurance, Accidental Death & Dismemberment and Disability insurance plans.
  • Retirement Plans: Employees are eligible to enroll in Colgate's 401(k) plan, which provides for company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements
  • Vacation/PTO: Employees receive a minimum of 15 days of vacation/PTO leave annually
  • Paid Holidays: Employees receive a minimum of 13 paid/floating holidays annually
  • Paid Sick Leave: Based on location and consistent with applicable state and local law, employees receive a minimum of 40 hours of paid sick leave on January 1st of each year
  • Paid Parental Leave: Eligible employees may take up to eight weeks of paid parental leave and 12 weeks of unpaid leave (varies for employees with fewer than 12 months of service and is subject to hours worked requirements)
