Job Title: US Accountant
Timings: 9:30 AM EST to 1:30 PM EST (Part time)
Location: Remote
Joining: ASAP/ 15 days’ notice period

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced US Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with US accounting principles and regulations. This role also includes the review and drafting of Statements of Work (SOW), Purchase Orders (PO), and Master Service Agreements (MSA). This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of accounting practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings and reconciliations.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits and reviews.
  • Process payroll and ensure accurate and timely payment to employees.
  • Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns.
  • Provide financial support and analysis for various projects and initiatives.
  • Review and draft Statements of Work (SOW), Purchase Orders (PO), and Master Service Agreements (MSA) to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Work closely with the legal and procurement teams to finalize contract documents.
  • Maintain organized records of all SOWs, POs, and MSAs.
  • Follow Up of Timesheets IT and Non-IT.
  • Track of all payments & expenditures, Purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc. Verifying the contracts /agreement with client /vendor, related to payment.
  • Handling client and vendor calls regarding payments

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on US accounting standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting software like QuickBooks, ADP, and especially Excel.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and other relevant financial regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with tax preparation and filing.
  • Familiarity with financial planning and analysis.
  • Knowledge of payroll processing and related regulations.
  • Experience in reviewing and drafting SOWs, POs, and MSAs.
